The Scoop: Where do I begin? I'll start off by thanking Wes Williams at Vurbmoto for giving LPmotocross an opportunity to film the coveted Video Redux series. I think it's safe to say that every aspiring MX filmer dreams of filming the pro's, and with the help of Vurbmoto our dreams came true.

Andy Kawa and I arrived at Millville and immediately went to work. When I first entered the Suzuki pits I was shaking so bad from excitement and nervousness. I had a hard time keeping the camera steady as Ryan Dungey signed autographs and discussed bike setup for Moto 1. After a bit I calmed down and got set up for the first race.

The first time I saw the riders through my viewfinder, it was literally unreal. I didn't believe I was there shooting. "That's Chad Reed! It's Kevin Windham!" I kept saying. This is the stuff you dream about!

Filming was a challenge at first. This wasn't the Vet C class I was use to. The pace was insane and you really had to compose the shots early and be fluid with camera movement.

As the day went I felt like I really nailed some incredible shots. Spring Creek MX has so many elevation changes and there are a lot of opportunities for unique shots.

There are so many moments of the day that I'll never forgot...from almost not getting in because securiy thought we would pull some National Security shenanigans, to standing on the podium feeling the energy from the crowd, to creeping on Simon Cudby as he went through his photos from the day... it was the best day of my life.

Editing the video was impossible. How do you decide which shots to use when you're dealing with the best riders in the world? Should I show Josh Grant scrubbing or Brett Metcalfe railing a corner? I love these problems!

Favorite Shot: After I filmed the Moto 1 holeshot I headed over to the legendary whoop section and set up a low angle tripod shot. Windham, Dungey, Andrew Short, and Josh Grant came through my viewfinder in harmonious fashion, and my day was complete! This was the money shot. It's the clip at 1:35 in.

Filming the starts is essential. For the first moto I set up on the hill just outside the first corner.

Chilling in the air conditioned media tent between motos. In the middle you can see Simon Cudby going through photos. I don't know how he chooses because every single image was a cover shot in my book!

After you film or photograph an event you always want to go through the footage right away, but the day after the race I had a hillclimb to attend (which I was racing in) and I couldn't look at the footage until after I got home from that...about 24 hours later! Let's just say I was relieved when I finally got a look at everything!
